UWP Extends Condolences to Cuban Government and People

The following is a letter from the United Workers Party to the Cuban Government extending condolences on the sudden death of a Cuban medical professional of the visiting medical brigade.

On behalf of the United Workers Party, The Parliamentary Opposition and all The People of The Commonwealth of Dominica, I extend sincere condolences to the Government, People of Cuba and the family of Sr. Yoet Michel Ramos Corzero, of The Henry Reeve Cuban Medical Brigade on his untimely passing, while in the Honourable service of the people of Dominica.
Sr.Corzero’s sacrificial service in this time of the Covid-19 pandemic is deserving of the profound gratitude of our Dominican people. May you be comforted that Cuba’s tremendous contributions to humanity in times of crisis shall never be forgotten.
The United Workers Party stands with the Cuban Nation as it mourns the loss of this young Health Care Service Provider. We respectfully note that Cuba continues to contribute meaningfully to health care on the African Continent, Latin America, the Caribbean and Dominica for which the people of these regions will be eternally thankful. May his soul rest in peace.
