Hon Parliamentary Representative for Roseau South Constituency, Chekira Lockhart-Hypolite is promising her constituents that all their roads will be completely resurfaced by the end of the year.
She says a lot of work has already begun in Giraudel, Loubiere and Castle Comfort close to half a million dollars.
“The roads at 3rd and 5th Ave, Madrelle have been completed and the cost of that project is well over $250,000.”
She adds that the Clark Rd near the Giraudel Primary School was completed.
“Currently, the drainage work is ongoing on that project,” she reported adding that, “There were other roads done: two in upper Castle Comfort costing in the region of over $200,000.”
Lockhart -Hypolite announced, “The aim is by the end of the first year of my representation as MP is to ensure that all the roads in Roseau South are resurfaced and motorable so that people will have access to their homes.”
