The Hon Prime Minister and Minister for Sustainable Development, Planning and Finance is saying that the capital city should have easily accessible public restrooms and is including those features in the plans for the enhancement of Roseau.
Hon c was speaking at a meeting of stakeholders early this week to present details of the plan for the new city of Roseau.
He said that aside from the museum “where you have a few washrooms and near the West Bridge, there are no other public facilities in the city and we need to address this issue.”
Hon Skerrit said the plan is to “in strategic issues, have public restrooms that will open and close at particular times. Those hours can be extended when there are public activities at night.”
“Both residents and visitors to the city” he specified.
He invited stakeholders to identify sites for those public restrooms.
