The Dominica State College (DSC) has announced the cancellation of classes citing a series of protests currently taking place on island.
This morning citizens woke up to news of road blocks in Salisbury, Marigot, Newtown, Layou and Pointe Round. The road to the college in Stock farm was also temporarily blocked with debris set ablaze across the street.
Fire and ambulance services have since quenched that fire at Stockfarm. Blockages in a few other areas including Newtown and Layou have also been cleared.
The Dominica State College (DSC) announced the cancellation of classes from 12:00 p.m today and for the rest of the week.
According to a notice from the School’s website, exams are intended to proceed as scheduled on Tuesday 9th December, however an official message will be communicated should there be any developments hindering the exam schedule.
