Hon Minister for Youth Affairs, Justina Charles-Riviere has expressed her concern about anti-social behaviour among young people.
She is perturbed by the incidents of violence among young people.
In an exclusive interview with Dominica Vibes news centering around World Peace Day on September 21st, Minister Charles- Riviere sounded a call to curb violence in schools and among young people.
“We need to inculcate in our students better socialization to prevent war. I think there is too much war going on in the world. Too much of our young people are dying violent deaths and a lot of money is being spent on nuclear weapons and things to destroy the world and people. I don’t think this is right. Everybody is important and has human rights no matter what their role, they are significant. We have to learn to live in a harmonious world,” she appealed.
