“The cutting edge technology of the High intensity Frequency Ultra Sound will be used in the treatment of various malignancies, especially prostate cancer,” he noted.

The Minister says it is an exciting time for the health sector as much is ongoing that will allow the current health care system to evolve.

“I could speak to the five million dollar increase in our annual pharmacological budget and to the fifteen local doctors who have completed or are completing post graduate studies in a number of exciting disciplines never before available here on island. I could speak to a brand new inititative where twelve new modern health centers are to be  constructed in various communities around the island; a project which will see facilities constructed in various communities.”
