The Hurricane names for 2019 have officially been released by the United Nations World Meteorological Organization. The names are as follows:
The Atlantic Hurricane season is usually between June 1st to November 30th. Throughout a few hundred years, hurricanes in the West Indies were named after the particular saint’s day on which the hurricane occurred.
According to experts’ experience, the use of short, distinctive names in written as well as spoken communications is quicker and less subject to error than the older, more cumbersome latitude-longitude identification methods of naming Hurricanes.
