Kohath Baron emerged first place winner in the Woodbridge bay to Point Michel route Cycling Competition with 87 points . The competition took place on Mar. 17, 2019.
Coming in at second place was Levi Baron and Chester Letang came in at third place with a total of 75 points each.
Letang expressed that he feels good about this race despite his position, due to his poor delivery in the last race.
Meanwhile, Kevon Boyd placed fourth in the competition .
When interviewed by president of the Dominica Cycling Association, Boyd confirmed he had not been feeling too well. This had led to his inability to perform at the best of his abilities.
“At the start of the race I had a very bad heart burn and that killed me entirely, I just wanted to finish the race.”
Boyd stated that he is ready for the next cycling competition and plans to come stronger.
President of the association, Ronald Charles informed DA Vibes that he is well satisfied with the results of the competition.
“Generally I am very impressed with the game. ”
Nevertheless, Charles said that he yearns to welcome more participants aboard the Cycling Association and that the association plans to attend regional races.
He announced that a seminar will soon be held to welcome new cyclists and gain more participants.
