Police says that alleged kidnapping report is false

Deputy Chief of the Dominica Police Force, Lincoln Corbette made a statement that the alleged report regarding the kidnap of the missing teen is indeed false.

Rhianna Serrant was reported kidnapped on the morning of Mar.9, 2019 in the village of Point Mitchel by two masked men in an unknown vehicle.

On Mar.10, 2019, Serrant was reported discovered in a healthy state in the village of Stockfarm by a Stockfarm resident according to the Dominica Police Force.

Corbette reported, “Infact, investigations have confirmed thus far, that this report is false. From all the investigations we have done, it is conformed that the date was pre arranged and that she had way advanced plans to leave her parents home and be with some person.”

He also firmly said that the young lady was not abducted and that he is disturbed by the public’s opinion of the Police department  not offering any assistance.

“In fact, from the moment this report was made, we have done many many searches and you would have seen us on the road doing our duty and we have spent a lot of resources, looking and searching from all angles for this young lady.”

Corbet conveyed that Serrant did not intend to be found according to investigations.
