CIBC donates to the HIV/AIDS Response Program

The First Caribbean International Bank (CIBC) has donated $4000 to the National HIV/AIDS Response Program.

The National HIV/AIDS Response Program Acting Coordinator, Lester Guye received the $4000 by cheque last week.

Business Support Officer, Rhona Lawrence said the bank was delighted to offer support to such a valuable outreach program. “We understand what the National HIV/AIDS Response Program is trying to achieve, and we want to play our part in helping them achieve their goals,” she said.

Acting National Coordinator of the National HIV and AIDS Response Program, Lester Guye expressed his gratitude on behalf of the program and the Ministry of Health and Social Services. He encouraged other institutions to follow the example of CIBC First Caribbean. He expressed that the funds are allocated to helping individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

“We within the public sector do need strong collaborative links with the private sector to meet the needs of persons with any type of illness,” he added.
The funds are allocated to helping individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.
