The Dominica State College has crowned a new Miss Mas Jamboree last evening. Miss Hallie Bruney,1 9, was throned following awards in Miss Photogenic, Best Runway Presentation, Best Evening Wear and Best Response to Question.
In an interview with DA Vibes, Miss Bruney expressed that despite the nervous tension, it was a good show.
“I’m deleighted, I’m overwhelmed with joy. Preparations were a rollercoaster and it was a lot of hard work…. I was nervous through out the entire thing but I’m glad about the out come”
She also advised future pageant contestants to “take it easy and have confidence”.
Coming in at 1st Runner up was Christel Ferrol with the people’s choice award, Best Swimwear, Best in Swimwear and Best Evening Wear.
LeSean Bellot won Miss Amity and came in at second Runner up.
Miss Sherain Mills was awarded the prize for best performing talent.
The Miss DSC Mas Jamboree Pageant was held at the Windsor Park Stadium Forecourt on Feb. 27, 2019.
