Hailing from the community of Stockfarm, Omean Charles emerged the title of Miss Carnival Mother’s Queen 2019.
Omean also obtained prizes for Miss Amity, Best Swimwear, Best in Swimwear, Best Evening Wear and Best in Evening Wear.
She expressed to DA Vibes that she is very excited and that preparations were not easy. Charles furthermore advised future participants for upcoming pageants to “Remain confident, believe in yourself and you can achieve anything. ”
Coming in at first runner up was Zayna Elizee of Grandbay. She captured awards for best performing talent. Sara Leatham of Roseau Valley came in at second place. She received the award for Best Response to Question.
The Miss photogenic award was awarded to Davia Joseph of the Kalinago Territory while Kimara Lugay of Roseau was awarded Best spectacular creation.
The Carnival Mothers Queen Pageant took place at the Windsor Park Stadium Forecourt on Feb. 6, 2019.
