The Ronald Charles Roseau Valley Basketball league Playoffs Started with a Bang!
Scores of the basketball game played on Saturday 16th are as follows:
Cochrane and SWOT played a high intensity game from tip off to the Final Whistle. It was a Close one throughout, but in the end team SWOT got the win with scores of 66 – 62.
Tilon Birmingham scored 18 points, Kiefer Francis 14 and Cornel Linton 12.
Jonathan Sherwin Mills scored a game high with 31 points, supported by Hasan Robinson 13 and Osborne “Moneytool ” Mathew with 10 points.
On Sunday 17th, Police emerged victorious over Thundererz with scores of 79 – 65.
Edmund Williams scored 26 points, D. Ormond 18, Nathan Sebastien 14 and John James 12 for the Police.
Scorers for the Thundererz includes Mitch Prevost with 20 points, Hakim Dangleben 17 and Shaka Dangleben 10.
The Playoff Action continues on Tuesday 19th February at 7pm, where Wotten Waven will play against the Trafalgar Benchers at the Trafalgar Playing Field.
The Wildcard winner Castle Bruce faces No.1 seed R.I.C at 7pm on Wednesday evening which will also be at the  Trafalgar Playing Field.
