Details following an accident that occurred on the 10th of February 2019 has been confirmed by the police.
In an interview with Vibes News on Friday, the Deputy Police Chief of the Dominica Police Force, Lincoln Corbette confirmed reports of a vehicular accident that occurred last weekend.
Corbette stated that a grey Honda HRV registration number TN107 rented from T Rentals collided with a Solar Lamp Pole, on the EC Loblack Highway in the Morne Espagnol region.
The vehicle was driven by Clifford Telemacque from Dubicque, Grandbay. He was accompanied by two passengers and everyone travelling on the vehicular suffered severe injuries.
One passenger, Kevin Toussaint who is also from Dubicque has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner at the Reginald Armour Hospital in Portsmouth.
Telemacque and the other passenger, Jasim Alexander who is also from Dubicque were transported to the Princess Margaret Hospital and admitted for medical attention.
Clifford Telemacque has been discharged from the hospital however, Alexander is still a patient on the Alford ward at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
