Police Investigations following the death of a man in Marigot are ongoing.
Police have confirmed that on the 13th of February 2019 on Fisher’s Bay one man succumbed to gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by the district doctor on the scene.
Deputy Chief of the Dominica Police Force, Lincoln Corbette told Vibes News in an interview on Friday that the deceased is suspected to be a foreign national and his identity has not been confirmed as of yet.
It was reported that the gunshots were fired on the scene. It is unknown how many shots were fired or by who.
One firearm, sums of cash in different currencies and other goods were discovered by the police in the vehicle of the deceased and are in police custody. The vehicle of the deceased are in police custody.
