A tropical wave is expected to generate an increase in cloudiness, showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across the area during the next 24 to 48 hours.
According to a report from the Met Office, an area of disturbed weather associated with a tropical wave currently east of the Leeward Islands is being monitored for some development. Residents are advised to keep informed on the progress of this system.
People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be vigilant and to exercise caution during the period.
Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 8.0ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers, particularly on the east coast, are advised to exercise caution.
