Healthy Housing Training sessions will be held in communities across the island.
The Healthy Housing Training program is an initiative of the Habitat for Humanity foundation from Trinidad and Tobago.
There will be a few ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions for Community Mobilizers to facilitate the Healthy Housing Training sessions.
In an interview with Vibes News, Program Manager for Habitat for Humanity Natasha Greaves stated that the aim of the Healthy Housing Training sessions is to assist people with healthy housing guidelines.
Miss Greaves said a number of people from different backgrounds have expressed interest in becoming Community Mobilizers to facilitate the Healthy Housing Training sessions.
“The initial idea was to have one Train the Trainers Program so we sent out a call through the communications and media network and by the end of the day when that request was sent out we have a program that was oversubscribed, so now we will be having three Train the Trainers Program,” Miss Greaves stated.
The first Train the Trainers Program will be held in Roseau on the 31st October, second will be in Kalinago Territory on 1st November and the third will be in Woodfordhill on 2nd November, 2018.
