Three Venezuelan nationals were charged at the Magistrate’s court yesterday, Monday 17 September 2018.
Venezuelan nationals Raman FR Espinosa, Javier JA Natera and Luis MV Hernandez were each charged by the Magistrate $20,000 for Possession of Cocaine with intent to supply. The sum to be paid forthwith or in default 2 years in prison, information from Police public relations officer Simon Edwards said.
Luis Hernandez was sentenced to 1 year hard labour for Possession of Firearm.
Javier Natera was sentenced to 1 year hard labour for Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
All three were each $25,000 for Illegal Entry to be paid forthwith or in default 6 months. Men to be deported following completion of the terms laid out.
Meantime Public Relations Officer Inspector Simon Edwards reported that twelve arrests made for curfew violations between Wednesday 12 September and on Thursday 13 September, 2018.
