Dialysis patients told to stay close to Roseau

Dialysis patients have been advised to find a place close to the city of Roseau for the passage of Tropical Storm Isaac.

Dr. Lynora Fevrier-Drigo, Acting Director of Primary Health Care Services gave this advice to dialysis patients during a press briefing on Tuesday 11 September 2018.

“Find somewhere within the town center, within Roseau, near to Roseau, that you can stay for a few days… because we do not want our dialysis patients to miss their dialysis turns.”

She also encouraged them to pay attention to their diets adding, “There are certain things you can and cannot eat, there’s amount of waters that you can and cannot drink; so all of those things, please be cognizant of those things.”
