The flood watch was upgraded to a FLOOD WARNING, up till 12noon today, particularly for southern parishes.
Cloudiness, showers and possible isolated thunderstorm activity associated with the passage of a tropical wave continues to affect the island.
A gradual improvement in conditions is anticipated across Dominica during the afternoon. However, people in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be vigilant and to exercise caution.
