Trevor Alfred of Marigot has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving on Wednesday 17 May 2017 at the Roseau Magistrate’s Court.
Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Pelham Jno. Baptiste, in a report to the media late Wednesday, stated that Alfred was charged following the conclusion of investigations into a vehicular collision last November.
“About 1 p.m. on November 9 2016, a motor vehicular collision occurred at Antrim Valley between motor vehicle registration number HF141 being driven by Jeffery Gregory of Grand Bay and motor vehicle registration number TL040 being driven by Trevor Alfred of Marigot. The collision resulted in the death of forty-five year old female British citizen Julie Tina Monk.”
Alfred was taken before the Magistrate’s Court in Roseau where the charge was read to him, he was granted bail in the sum of EC twenty-five thousand dollars (25, 000).
The trial is carded for June 14 2017.
