NBD launches response package for credit customers

Mrs. Suzanne Joseph-Piper Executive Manager of Marketing & Product Management at the National Bank of Dominica (NBD) said in an interview with Vibes News on Tuesday 24th October 2017 that a credit response package is now available for their credit clients.

Mrs. Piper said the bank awarded a moratorium on loan payments for three months explaining that customers need to come into the bank to make the request.

The bank she added is also offering some unsecured loan packages for mortgage customers up to twenty-five thousand dollars or more if they qualify and up to ten thousand for non-mortgage customers.

“We know we all have unexpected expenses at this time whether its relocating, taking care of needs for our children, or want to replace certain things that we’ve lost, so these amount are intended to help with some of the immediate expenses while we wait for perhaps our insurance to be dealt with,” she said.

Meanwhile claims are being handled for customers who are part of the NBD Mortgage Group.

“We encourage customers who are not with the NBD Mortgage group to do the same with their insurance companies and those who have not come in to come in to see us,” Mrs. Piper said.
