Dominica State College is not only interested in graduating individuals with a high grade point average and ensuring that students give back to the community but the institution is equally interested in graduating individuals who are emotionally stable and capable of making right decisions. For this reason, since the suspension of on-campus classes and the unprecedented COVID-19-related challenges, the counselors and clinical phycologist of the Dominica State College have implemented creative ways to communicate with students, faculty, and staff. To date, content has been shared on their Facebook and Instagram pages, on Orbund (student information system) and in their WhatsApp groups.
The institution encourages students, staff, faculty, and members of the public to take advantage of this free counseling service and continue to adhere to the guideline of the Ministry of Health.
