The first event of Emancipation 2022 will be held later this evening. This event is dubbed “Kalinago Territory Establishment Day Concert” and will commence at 7:00 PM at the Karina Cultural Village, Bataca.
Prosper Paris, Cultural Officer in the Ministry of Culture said the concert will highlight and showcase the culture and talent of the Kalinago people.
The Emancipation Celebrations 2022 will run from July 01 to August 13.
