Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, with responsibility for Telecommunications and Broadcasting, Senator Oscar George has wished all the students seating exams today and Friday, the best of luck.
A total of 854 students are involved in the exams across 70 centres around the island- 417 girls and 437 boys.
“The Grade Six National Assessment is being conducted today Thursday and tomorrow Friday. I believe in the region of 854 students will be taking part in this exams, and I want to wish every single one of them all the best. I wish for their overall success on the exams, I encourage them to get to the exam room on time, be relaxed, and to not put unnecessary pressure on themselves.”
The Senator added that the Grade Six exams are of great significance to every single student.
He also called on the parents of the students to refrain from adding too much unnecessary pressure on the students as they seat the exams.
“I also ask that the parents of the students provide the necessary support to them, don’t put them under too much pressure, every student has their own way of approaching and preparing for exams. It is important as parents and teachers, we play our part in making the experience a pleasant one for all our students. All the best to the students, I hope they do well.”
