Destination Marketing Manager of the Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), Kimberly King, says she is elated by the resumption of ferry services in Dominica.
The Government of Dominica announces the resumption of ferry services to Dominica, effective November 15th, 2021. Speaking over the weekend, King noted that Dominica has a long history of social and trade connectivity with neighboring French Islands via ferry.
She stated that the resumption of services contributes towards the island’s growth and development and will bring economic value & benefits to Dominica.
Services are allowed to resume on a phased basis, with approved protocols, which are the same as traveling to Dominica by air. King highlighted the importance of ferry services to tourism on the island and encouraged persons to get vaccinated.
