The Dominica Air and Sea Port Authority (DASPA) is anticipating a busy Christmas season at the Woodbridge Bay Port in terms of cargo processes.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of DASPA, Mrs. Myseline Valarie said that this is a result of a backlog in the United States.
Mrs. Valarie said plans are already in place for the busy period ahead. She said, “we usually plan because we have to look at capacity in terms of storage, staffing,”
She continued, ” We also have to collaborate with the customs authority and the other departments that were first with us like security and the maintenance department.”
She ended by stating that they know what the expectant are and that they are prepared for it.
