Two hundred and Ninety-nine degrees were conferred earlier on Thursday during the Dominica State College’s 19th commencement ceremony.
Minister for Public Works and the Digital Economy, Hon. Cassani Laville who was the featured speaker called on the graduating class of the Dominica State College to “dream big” and to “stand proudly” with knowledge of their circumstance.
The Commencement Ceremony took place at the Windsor Park on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Dr. Donald Peters told the ceremony, that the students are graduating at a time when the world is grappling with the most severe pandemic to hit all nations over a hundred years.
This year’s valedictorian, Khahill-Akil Richards said the journey has not been the easiest.
Richards also recognized the contributions and sacrifices of the many persons who made it possible for the class of 2021.
