The Campbell/Despor Village Council continues to make strides in reaching out to the community.
The council has been involved in a food drive for the past months and has decided to make a stop at the Chances facility in Jimmit.
The facility is home to over twenty young children and a number of food and grocery items among other things were handed over to the personnel at the facility for the benefit of the children there.
Chairman of the Campbell/Despor Village Council, Alyan Christopher said, “We at the Campbell/Despor Village Council are very happy to be making this contribution CHANCES. We know for sure that it will be put to good use.”
Muthoni McIntyre, Assistant Manager at CHANCES said, “So on behalf of our management team, our staff, our children, especially our children, we extend sincere gratitude to the Campbell Village Council.
She then pointed out that it takes a community to raise children and that she is really glad that the community is reaching out before saying “thank you so much for remembering CHANCES.”
