Romario Shepherd has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19

West Indies selectors will head back to its pool of players and select a new player to complete the squad for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.

That’s according to renowned cricket commentator and host of the Mason and Guest programme in Barbados, Andrew Mason who broke the news that Romario Shepherd has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19.

Romario Shepherd was earlier selected to feature in the ODI squad against Bangladesh.

The West Indies touring side is scheduled to land in Dhaka on January 10, and after completing the quarantine protocols, they will start their preparations with a one-day warm-up match in Savar.

The three-match ODI series will begin in Dhaka on January 20, with the Test leg starting on February 3.
