Speaker of the House of Assembly, former Parliamentary Representative for Roseau Central and Roseau North, Joseph Isaac, has commended the Dominica Labour Party administration, led by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, for its support to citizens.
“Whether through housing, agriculture, tourism and in most recent times, the revolutionary legislative amendments that took place in the House of Assembly which will be the best thing that would uplift the private sector it would bear out of a consultative process of grassroots people. This is the way we should govern a country, from down go up”
He called on Dominicans to recognize that we are seeing a social and economic revolution, and therefore should be very happy.
Isaac also went on to commend the Ministry of Health for its efforts in the fight against COVID-19 spread here.
“In 2019, we saw a very difficult period a period where we were faced COVID-19. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the minister of health and the frontline workers in the ministry of health and the cabinet of Dominica for really steering us in the right direction and really keeping this pandemic under control. Again, a round of applause for Dominica!”
