The Government of Dominica remains committed to filling vacancies at the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force and Acting Chief of Police, Lincoln Corbett says the recruitment process is ongoing.

Corbett says a new cohort of officers will soon commence; that is 50 officers inclusive of women.

He urged persons interested in joining the police force to begin applying.

“We urge and we encourage those persons who are interested in joining the police force to do so, the process is ongoing and we really need officers or young people to join the force,” Corbett said.

“The basic requirement to join the force is just as the public service is that you need to have 4 subjects inclusive of Maths or English and you must be between the age of 18 years and 30 years,” he added.
