Unstable conditions due to the passage of a tropical wave interacting with an upper level trough are expected to generate cloudy to overcast conditions with pockets of moderate to heavy shower and thunderstorm activity across parts of the island chain, including Dominica, during today.
The FLOOD WARNING has been extended to 6pm this evening.
By Thursday another tropical wave is projected to generate an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity across the area.
People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should exercise extreme caution during today and throughout this week as the area is projected to remain moist and unstable over the next few days.
Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 hours with wave heights peaking near 7.0ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers, particularly on the east coast, should exercise caution
