Speaking on his weekly talk show, the Hon Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit noted that the airline’s access to Dominica is significant.

He stated that he looks forward to a strong partnership and noted the increased air access that the airline provides.

“This is very important especially with the challenges that we’ve had in airline services in the Caribbean region, especially in this COVID period. And so, we want to thank Caribbean Airlines, the chairman, and of course the board of directors for the decision to come in,” the Prime Minister said.

He added, “We’ve been engaging in discussions for some time now and we’re happy that finally they’re here. And so, we look forward to a very strong partnership with Caribbean Airlines as we seek to improve on-air access into Dominica…in the medium term we work towards the construction of our international airport.”
