Tropical wave in far east has high chance of development
- September 12, 2020
A westward-moving tropical wave located in the far Eastern Atlantic is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
The system has a high chance of development and a tropical depression is expected to form within the next few days as the system approaches.
This system is expected to approach the area by mid next week.
Residents are advised to monitor the progress of this system.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Paulette and Tropical Storm Rene continue their west north-westward track over the Tropical Atlantic. Based on current projected paths, these systems are not expected to pose a direct threat to Dominica.
