LA Enterprises Bombers FC edged out Calibishie Diaspora FC 3-2 on Friday night at the Benjamin’s Park, as the DFA Division One League resumed after a four-month suspension, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lemar Irish netted twice for Bombers, with Davone George scoring one.

In the other match at the Dublanc playing field, Police Sports Club also won by a one-goal margin, with a 3-2 win over Exodus FC.

Also, on Friday night, Middleham United hammered Kensbro United 5-0 at the Dublanc playing field. Curtley Augustine found the back of the nets twice for Middleham, with Kimon Jno Baptiste, Ryan Matthew and Derwin Eusebe getting one each.

On Saturday, Bense Sharks FC edged out Itassi United 4-3 at the Benjamin’s Park. Omal Charles netted twice for Bense, with Ricardo Leblanc and Ojarah Jarvis getting one each. Vincent Joseph scored a brace for Itassi, with Dannell Didier getting one.

And for the Division One League matches played on Sunday; RC Doctors edged out Calibishie Diaspora 1-0 at the Benjamin’s Park. Omarion Francis scored for RC Doctors in the 20th minute while ACS Pottersville Tarish FC hammered Mighty Avengers 4-nil at the Newtown playing field. Jarik Parker, Jonathan Abel, Fabio Roberts and Davon Valmond scored for Tarish.

DFA Premier League

Happi Bath Estate FC kicked off the second round in the DFA Premier league, with a 1-nil victory over CCCU Dublanc FC on Sunday at the Benjamin’s Park.

Kelrick Walter converted in the 32nd minute of play as Happi Bath Estate moved to 5th place in the points table.

Meanwhile, Exodus FC is still without a win after ten matches.

They went down to Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers 2 goals to 1 in the at the Dublanc playing field on Sunday. Kimon Walters opened the scoring for Exodus in the 8th minute of play, with Jerran Sebastian equalizing for Soca Strikers in the 18th minute.

Mael John got the winning goal for Soca Strikers in the 69th minute.
