Minister Lauds Early Childhood Educators For Indispensable Impacts Over The Years

Minister for Education and Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence, Octavia Alfred has applauded teachers and principals from early childhood education to secondary level for their invaluable contribution to education – sometimes under laborious circumstances.

She asked the teachers and principals to be patient and continue to do their best.

“We started the year in high gear but COVID-19 put the brakes on us but, however, we are moving ahead with you as our priority,” she said.

The Minister who made her comments during her address at the 2020/2021 National Budget, pledged the government’s commitment towards the teachers across the island.

“Your government, your ministry, and more so your minister understand it all too well and we pledge our continued support and commitment to make life better for you our valued teachers and principals,” Minister for Education and Human Resource Planning, Vocational Training and National Excellence, Octavia Alfred said.
