A Scotsman who set out to break a world record for playing bagpipes in every country of the world stopped in Dominica last year.
Ross Jennings filmed his experiences in Dominica tracing potential Scottish links in the meantime.
He visited Castle Bruce, the Kalinago Territory and Grand Fond among several other spots.
Dominica is unlike any other Caribbean nation. There are few crowds, plenty of eco-lodges and it’s even got its own resident pod of sperm whales. In early 2019, I arrived on a boat from Saint Lucia, not really knowing what to expect, and it soon became one of my favourite Caribbean Islands.Thank you 3 Rivers & Rosalie Forest Eco Lodge for having me, Kalinago Barana Aute for letting me play the bagpipes and to Kersel for showing me round the island.#KiltedAdventures #Dominica #DiscoverDominica #VisitDominica #EasternCaribbean #TheFirstPiper #Breacans #AtlasObscura #BreacansTrips #Caribbean #Kalinago #KalinagoTerritory #Waitukubuli #ItsInOurNature #DominicaAwaits #EscapeToDominicaDiscover Dominica // Breacans // Travel Channel
