Although the Dominica Festivals Commission is still in the preliminary phases of reviewing this year’s World Creole Music Festival, Marva Williams, Festival and Events Manager, says there is a lot of positive feedback coming in the wake after the three highly-anticipated nights of pulsating rhythms.
She told Dominica Vibes, “From all reports: the media, patrons and the other feedback we have received, we can conclude the that the World Creole Music Festival 2019 was indeed successful.
“As it relates to gate receipts and visitor arrival figures, we are currently dotting I’s and crossing T’s so we won’t be able to speak to the exact numbers yet. But we can say that the festival was a success.”
Williams also indicated that the DFC was pleased with the attendance on each evening, as that was the first positive indication of success of the festival.
She extended thanks to all who participated in making another World Creole Music Festival the headline independence event.
