The aim of this screening and tribute is to emphasize the importance of embracing our culture and promoting our more recently created music genres.
Oseyi and the Masqueraders promotes several Bouyon songs in various scenes of the film.
The Film will be screened twice on Feb. 28, 2019 at 6.30 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. The venue is the Alliance Francaise de La Dominique on Elmshall Road.
Admissions to see this movie is free of charge however donations are accepted.
“We did not want to screen it on Bouyon day to clash with any bouyon activities so we are screening the movie two days after bouyon day… It is being screened twice to accommodate people who may be attending other events that night.” Creator of the film, Alwin Bully remarked in an interview with Vibes News.
