Miss Dominica 2019 Show “dares to be different”

Queen Contestants have all received full sponsorship.

Contestant number one of the Miss Dominica pageant 2019, Aaliyah Martin of Campbell has officially gained full sponsorship from CORISAV Inc, and was formerly sashed at a DFC press conference which was held on Wednesday 30th January 2019. Miss Martin was the only contestant who had not received sponsorship by that date.

Miss Martin was the final contestant to have received sponsorship. The other four contestants for the Miss Dominica Pageant 2019 are Marisol John who is sponsored by D’ Treads Tyre Inc; Anic Williams sponsored by National Health Insurance; Chrisline Tavernier sponsored by Big Edge financial express, T calypso and EZBarrel; and Britney Felix who is sponsored by Dominica National Lottery.

These five young ladies are expected to vie for the Miss Dominica title on March 1st 2019.

In a press conference on Wednesday 6th February, events coordinator of Dominica Festival Committee, Marva Williams promised that the Miss Dominica pageant this year dares to be different and will be an event like no other, as the DFC seeks to have the event stand out as compared to other years in an effort to include local artists in the initiative.

According to Miss Williams, the Miss Dominica Pageant will be hosted by local artists Colton -T and Starsha.
