Louvean Jeremie of Massacre is the 2018 Madam Wob Dwiyet.
Jeremie took home the crown at the annual staging of the pageant on Thursday, October 18th at the Old Mill Cultural Center at 8:00 p.m.
She took home the awards for Best Talent, Best in Wob and Miss Photogenic.
Jeremie stated that she is excited about her win, noting that she is “pleased and happy that the long hours of preparations paid off.”
Helena Dangleben of Goodwill came in 1st runner up while Annette John-Charles Stedman of Belfast came in 2nd runner up.
Stedman also won the award for Best in Contemporary Creole Wear.
The event was organized by the Cultural Division Madam Wob Dwiyet and is aimed at promoting and keeping Dominica’s culture alive.
