Finesse Beauty is hosting its first Sewing Training Entrepreneurship Program (STEP).
This program launched on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at 2:00 at the UWI open campus.
STEP will consist of: Communication and Social Skills; Quality Customer Service Care; Sewing and Garment Building; Deportment and Grooming; Operational Competency; Work Ethics; and Emotional intelligence.
STEP is a seven weeks program and will be held at the UWI open campus.
Partners of this program include: Dominica Export and Import Agency (DEXIA); University of the West Indies (UWI) open campus; National Development Foundation of Dominica (NDFD); Dominica Youth Business Trust (DYBT); and the Dominica Broadcasting Radio (DBS).

Mrs Matthew also declared he gratitude to God for birthing this initiative.
The first class “Quality Customer Care” was that same day facilitated by Mrs Frederika Durand. Mrs Durand described the participants of the first session as “enthusiastic and willing to participate”.
“I think step is a great initiative, students want to learn to sew their own clothing however this program is also geared at total self development, improving general deportment and ethics.” Mrs Durand remarked.
