DSC to host pinning ceremony for nursing graduates

Nine (9) students will participate in a pinning ceremony to mark the rite of passage from nursing students to graduate nurse on Friday 29 June 2018.

This, as the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Dominica State College (DSC) hosts its 7th Pinning Ceremony from 4:00PM at its Upper Campus under the theme “Pursuing Global Standards with Integrity and Excellence”.

“This event will be historic in that the first group of students to pursue the generic Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at DSC will participate in this rite of passage from nursing students to graduate nurse,” a press release from the school states.

DSC President, Donald C. Peters; Coordinator of the HIV/AIDS Response Unit, Nurse Lester Guye and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Chandler Hyacinth are among officials expected to address the ceremony.
