Roseau, Dominica, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 – The Colihaut Primary School has a new look and fresh surroundings today. A group of 16 Cubans including engineers, electricians and carpenters took up the challenge of repairing the roof and ceiling, electrical fittings, plumbing, flooring and painting of the building over a two month period. The Government of Dominica provided the materials and the team provided free labour.
The keys to the building will be handed back to the Ministry of Education during a short ceremony on location Wednesday 20th, December, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The MoE will also take the opportunity to thank the group for their assistance in repairing the school before they return home to Cuba.
