Press Release

The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) would like to congratulate its Member;
Rosalie Bay Nature Resort on its appearance on the highly prestigious World’s Best list by Travel
+ Leisure magazine.

In the Travel + Leisure 2017 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey, the eco-wellness Dominica
resort is ranked No. 13 in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas. It is the only resort on the
Nature Island to secure a spot on the renowned list.

With signature West Indies gingerbread-style accommodations, island-fresh dining, a farm-to-spatable
spa, sea turtle conservation program and authentic excursions, it is no surprise that Rosalie
Bay scored high marks with the magazine’s affluent readers and had an overall score of 93.73.

The Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards are based on the annual Travel + Leisure World’s Best
survey, where 300,000 readers shared their opinion of their favorite travel providers and
experiences. In the 22nd annual survey, readers rated hotels based on room and facilities, location,
service, restaurants and food, and value.

“Rosalie Bay is no stranger to these awards, having been named #2 best resort in the Caribbean
and among the top Hotels & Resorts in the World by Condé Nast Traveler in 2013, 2014 Travelers’
Choice Award, Top 25 Hotels in the Caribbean and 2015 CHIEF award for Sustainability, among
other accolades” commented Mr. Kevin A. Francis, Executive Vice President of the DHTA.

“These stellar performances are inline with the consistent work that Rosalie Bay does and helps
bolster Dominica as a destination of choice for travelers around the world”

Once again, the Executive Vice President – Kevin A. Francis, President – Arienne Perryman and
the Board of Directors of the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) would like to
further congratulate Rosalie Bay Resort on another great achievement.

Operating as a membership-based tourism development organization for over four decades, the
Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association is a focal point for the tourism industry in Dominica.

The DHTA assumes a leadership role in the industry, and acts as a catalyst for enabling Dominica’s
tourism economy to reach its full potential to the benefit of our current and future members,
visitors, investors and travel partners, citizens and the Commonwealth of Dominica.
