(Sagicor) On Thursday May 28, 2020, Agency Manager, Brenton Hilaire, of Sagicor Life – Dominica, accompanied by a delegation of advisors, presented EC $950 cash to the Commonwealth Student’s Association (CSA) Dominica to support its Connect Me Project.
Representative of CSA Dominica, Jonathan Jones, indicated that the Connect Me Project sought to provide temporary internet access to various rural schools in Dominica. This was being done to allow students, without internet access at their home, to now be able to obtain their educational material at their school in a safe environment. In receipt of the funds, Jonathan said “I am thankful to Sagicor for their support to the youth of Dominica.” Communities being targeted by this initiative were Castle Bruce, Colihaut, Mahuat, Newtown and Sineku (Kalinago Territory).
Brenton Hilaire; Agency Manager of Sagicor Life – Dominica, stated that when the request came to him, he was impressed with the initiative which prompted him to consult with his sales team about it. After doing so, every member of his team agreed to come together and use their personal funds to support this idea of CSA Dominica. Brenton said “Sagicor’s vision is to be a great company dedicated to improving the lives of the people in the communities that we operate in.” He further said, “This is not just the company’s vision, but it is also the DNA of every advisor of the company that guides our daily interactions with our clients.”
Cheryl Rolle; Principal Representative of Sagicor Life – Dominica, sent her love as she has always been an advocate for providing opportunities to the youth.
