Roseau, September 10, 2018 – The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce encourages the Private Sector and General Public to be vigilant in the wake of this approaching weather system and to stay abreast with official weather advisories.

We further encourage All Businesses to implement ALL necessary precautions to protect yourselves, employees and business assets during and after Hurricane Isaac. It is essential to remain in disaster preparedness mode until officials declare the island safe.

We encourage you to activate your Business Continuity Plans. A Business Preparedness and Response checklist is available from our office.

If you are in need a curfew pass for authorized staff members of your business, we advise that you contact the Dominica Police Force office promptly. In addition, all businesses are asked to clear goods and vehicles from the by tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday 11th September.
