Shine Union officially reopened its doors eleven months after the passage of Hurricane Maria on Friday 24 August 2018.

Regional Manager of Shine Union Jessica Wyllie told Dominica Vibes that the reopening of the store is significant and the public can expect great service and a variety of new products.

“We want to say thank you for their patronage over the years and we welcome you back, where the prices are better, with top quality products. We have introduced new product such as building items such as toilets and doors to name a few.”

Wyllie said Shine Union was severely affected by the passage of Hurricane Maria.

“We lost everything when Hurricane Maria struck the island. Our two warehouses were destroyed, goods were lost and we had to make a new start”.

She said all the employees returned with the addition a few new employees.

Shine Union began operating in 1998 and has stores in Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Vincent and Dominica.
