The National Bank of Dominica will be celebrating its fortieth anniversary on the 14th of March 2018.
To celebrate its anniversary, the institution will be hosting various activities around the island aimed at thanking its customers and giving back to the communities.
Executive Marketing Manager, Suzanne Joseph Piper, who was speaking at the official launching anniversary ceremony on Monday 12 March 2018 said, “Like all the other organizations, we have had our challenges, and we have had some challenging years. But we have accomplished great things and so we would like, over the next ten months, to tell our story to the public.”
She noted that over the next ten months they will be hosting a series of activities to properly recognize such a milestone in the company’s history.
Celebrations will start off with a thanksgiving ceremony, as well as a community day in the upcoming week.
“Firstly, we will be giving thanks and for that, on Tuesday we will be having a thanksgiving service at the Fatima Catholic Church at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday is community day. Staff will undertake community projects around the island. We have ten projects at various locations, and different teams of NBD staff will be going out to execute these projects,” she noted.
NBD will also be hosting a sale in the parking lots of their main branches in Roseau and Portsmouth before the week culminates in a staff toast.
“Thursday is our grand day and it’s our celebration. We will host a grand scale event out in our parking lots at Hillsborough Street and at Portsmouth. It is really to meet and greet our customers to show them that we appreciate them doing business with us and later on in the afternoon, the entire staff body will meet together to have a grand anniversary toast,” Piper added.
